CRIMINALS CHASED AND SHOT 2 PEOPLE, ONE DEAD

ARA----------------------------In Bhojpur, armed criminals shot an electrical engineer and his friend. The friend died on the spot. The engineer was shot in the waist. His condition remains critical. Doctors referred him to Patna from Sadar Hospital. 10 rounds of firing took place.

The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra Kumar (32), son of Awadhesh Kumar, a resident of Pavana Pawar village. The injured youth's name is Raj Kumar (32). He works in a private company in Mumbai. The incident took place near Belaur village in Udwantnagar police station area.

After the firing, people blocked the road by placing the dead body on it. They created a ruckus demanding the arrest of the criminals.

The injured Raj Kumar said that 'We had a reservation in the Patliputra Superfast Express. My friend was going to Arrah station on Dharmendra Kumar's bike. My son Rishabh (7) was also with me. He was going to Mumbai with me. Suddenly 3 criminals arrived on a bike near Belaur bungalow. They started firing continuously. About 10 rounds were fired.

'Dharmendra was hit by 5 bullets. Amidst the firing, I started running with my son. Meanwhile, I was also shot. Somehow I escaped from there and saved my life. On the information of the local people, the police team reached the spot. After this, I was admitted to the hospital.'

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Raj said, 'It is coming to light that this incident was carried out due to a previous land dispute. Some criminals have been identified. A team has been deployed for investigation. Soon everyone will be arrested.'
