CENTRAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS ARE PLAYING WITH THE FUTURE OF STUDENTS: AJIT SINGH

BHABHUA--------------------------Is it not injustice to the youth if the vacant posts in the country or state are not filled on time? Conducting exams and then withholding the results for years, not only this, sometimes even cancelling the exam, leaking the paper, server not working in online exams, mouthpiece getting damaged, selecting wrong question papers and serving them to students, then cancelling the exam, what is all this? Is their age not expiring, can the state government or the central government bring back their age, there are all kinds of questions which neither the state government nor the central government has the answer to. The dreams of crores of youth of the country have been deeply hurt by the negligence and conspiracy in the SSC exam. The above words were said by Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Ajit Singh in the Ramgarh assembly by-election. Further he said that the most serious thing is that the conduct of this examination was handed over to a controversial private company Eduquity which has already faced infamy for its suspicious role in scams like Vyapam.

The question is that when a reputed, transparent and experienced company like TCS was successfully conducting SSC examination for years, then why was it suddenly removed and the contract was given to a previously blacklisted agency?

Is the Vyapam model being implemented in the whole country now, where the hard work, ability and life of the students are all put at stake by giving them on contract? The atrocities committed by the government on the students are proof of that. Cancelling the examination after reaching the examination center without any prior information is not playing with the students. Not only this, the biometric system failed, the computer was faulty, the mouse did not work and then showing them the way out, what is all this. The students were sent to centers thousands of kilometers away and when the students came out on the streets against these injustices, they were lathicharged and insulted!

The demands of the candidates are clear- the contract of Eduquity should be cancelled immediately, there should be a judicial inquiry into the entire

matter, strict action should be taken against the guilty officers and agencies, the affected students should get a chance to take the exam again and get compensation for the expenses, the government should investigate the lathicharge on the students and apologize publicly. This is not just a single exam irregularity, irregularities have been taking place in many types of examinations held in the country, is this not an attack on the self-respect, hard work and rights of the youth of the country.

If seen honestly, wherever you look in the country, there is a lot of mutual tension due to gender, caste, religion and region based hatred and laws, political parties also resort to this to capture power. Whereas, because of ineligibility reservation, unemployment, caste frenzy, religious frenzy, regionalism frenzy and corruption are at their peak in the nation. When a person securing 30% marks in a competitive exam will occupy some post and the one securing 90% marks will be unemployed, then what would be the future of the country is a matter of concern. But if the truth be told, the future of the nation is being spoilt because of gender, caste, religion and region based hatred and laws; the workers of any political party do not have the capability to say this.
