BUY ESSENTIAL ITEMS ON THE TRAIN

ARA------------------------With this new initiative, passengers will be able to purchase essential items on the train at fixed rates. This step will enhance passenger convenience.

The Danapur Division is continuously implementing new initiatives to further improve passenger convenience. In this regard, the sale of various items will soon be introduced on passenger trains running on the Patna-Jhajha section (which includes the Bakhtiyarpur-Tilaiya, Fatuha-Islampur, and Mokama-Rajendrapul sections).

Under this facility, passengers will be able to easily purchase laptop and mobile accessories, imitation jewelry, cosmetics, watches, handkerchiefs and hosiery, toiletries, stationery, books and newspapers, showpieces, footwear, toys, glasses, locks, bags, etc. on board the train during their journey.

Previously, passengers had to disembark for these items, but now this facility will be available to them during their journey. This arrangement will be applicable on Jan Shatabdi, Superfast, ordinary passenger, and DEMU/MEMU trains.

This new initiative will provide passengers with essential items available onboard at fixed rates. This step will enhance passenger convenience and make their journey more enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. This facility is scheduled to be launched on September 25, 2025.
