BUTAN CHAUDHARY’S AIDE ARRESTED
After the arrest of notorious prize-winning Bootan Chaudhary of Udwantnagar police station area of Bhojpur, the police has now started tightening the noose on his disciples as well. The police have arrested Bootan Chaudhary's disciple Suresh Singh alias Raiya along with one of his associates. Both were arrested from Belaur village on Monday night. These include Suresh Singh alias Raiya and Sumit Chaudhary, residents of Belaur village.

ARA------------------------After the arrest of notorious prize-winning Bootan Chaudhary of Udwantnagar police station area of Bhojpur, the police has now started tightening the noose on his disciples as well. The police have arrested Bootan Chaudhary's disciple Suresh Singh alias Raiya along with one of his associates. Both were arrested from Belaur village on Monday night. These include Suresh Singh alias Raiya and Sumit Chaudhary, residents of Belaur village.
Sumit Chaudhary was wanted in the murder case at Khangaon sand ghat of Chandi police station area and shooting of Ayush Kumar Gupta, son of former Panchayat Samiti member Deepak Kumar Gupta, resident of Belaur village. At the same time, Bootan Chaudhary's disciple Suresh Singh alias Raiya is also accused of shooting Ayush Kumar Gupta.
However, he was on bail in that case. A country-made pistol and a magazine have been recovered from him. This information was given by SP Raj in a press conference on Tuesday. He said that on Monday night, information was received about Butan Chaudhary's associate Suresh Singh alias Raiya being seen with a weapon.
On that basis, the police, led by the SHO, raided Belaur village and arrested Suresh Singh alias Raiya with a country-made pistol and magazine. In the same sequence, Sumit Chaudhary, wanted in the murder and Arms Act case, was also arrested by the police.
According to the SP, Sumit Chaudhary was wanted in the murder of Harshit, a resident of Sikraul village of Sikarhatta police station area at Khangaon sand ghat of Chandi police station area in October 2023 and shooting Ayush Kumar Gupta, a resident of Belaur village in March last year.
On October 20, 2023, there was firing between two parties at a sand ghat in Khangaon. In that, Harshit Singh of one side and Prakash Chaudhary, nephew of Ranjit Chaudhary, a resident of Belaur village, while Rajesh Kumar Rai alias Kallu Rai, the contractor of the ghat, a resident of Buxar, of the other side, were shot. Harshit Singh was killed in that incident.
In that case, both the parties had lodged a named FIR. One party had lodged an FIR against nine named persons including Bootan Chaudhary, Deepak Pandey and Kallu Rai and other unknown persons. On the other hand, the other party had lodged an FIR against five named persons including Ranjit Chaudhary and Prakash Chaudhary and other unknown persons.
Bootan Chaudhary, who was carrying a reward of Rs 2 lakh and was accused of murdering a Panchayat Samiti member from Belaur village, shooting his son and possessing an AK 47 rifle, was arrested from Maharashtra two days ago.
