PATNA---------------------Before the assembly elections, two MLAs of Tejashwi Yadav have left RJD. The party has suffered a big blow in Nawada district. Vibha Devi and Prakash Veer have now joined BJP.

Two RJD MLAs have left Tejashwi Yadav. On Friday, in PM Modi's Gaya rally, Vibha Devi, MLA from Nawada and Prakash Veer, MLA from Rajauli, were present on BJP's stage. Vibha Devi is the Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA from Nawada, who is the wife of Rajvallabh Prasad Yadav. Rajvallabh Prasad Yadav was recently acquitted by Patna High Court in the rape case. Since then, there were speculations of him joining NDA. Now, with Vibha Devi coming on PM Modi's stage, it has been confirmed.

For the past few months, there was a constant discussion about Prakash Veer that he would leave RJD. Last week, when Tejashwi went to Nawada, even then he had talked about Prakash Veer's ticket being cut. Now Prakash Veer has given a big blow to RJD by coming on the BJP platform. Let us tell you, Prakash Veer became MLA on RJD ticket in 2020. He got a total of 69,984 votes. BJP candidate Kanhaiya Kumar, who came second, got 57,391 votes.

Let us tell you that there are a total of 6 assembly seats in Nawada district - Barbigha Assembly Seat, Rajauli Assembly Seat, Hisua Vidhan Sabha Seat, Govindpur Vidhan Sabha Seat and Warisaliganj Assembly Seat. Out of these, three seats are occupied by RJD and three seats are occupied by NDA.
