PATNA---------------------------Bihar's education department is once again in the headlines due to its exploits. But this time the matter is not of any minor decree, but of directly violating the Constitution, for which the Patna High Court has strongly reprimanded. This news will not be surprising for those who know Bihar's politics and administration closely, because creating 'bhaukaal' here is a common thing.

The main work of the Directorate of Public Education is to educate all illiterate adults. In the 'Sakshar Bharat Mission' of 2012, this department achieved a lot of success and Bihar also received the President's Award. But when this scheme was stopped in 2018, the Bihar government found a new way: "Dalit Mahadalit Minority Akshar Aanchal Yojana". As is clear from the name, this scheme was limited only to the women of these communities.

The question arises that are the men of these communities not illiterate? Don't they need education and government schemes?

The most shocking thing about the case is that under this scheme, 20 thousand Shiksha Sevaks and 10 thousand Talimi Markaz posts were recruited. The surprising thing is that these posts were filled without any reservation roster, only people from these particular communities were recruited. It would not be wrong to say that Bihar became the only state in the country where such a large number of recruitments were made without any constitutional provisions, only for a particular community. This is why it is said that "This is Bihar, Janaab, there is a lot of chaos here."
