BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT WITH FIREARMS

ARA------------------------Bhojpur Police arrested Umashankar Singh with one country-made pistol and 01 magazine in a major operation under Umesh Thakur Chowki area. This action was taken in Umashankar Thakurganj police station area, where the police had received information that Umashankar Singh was roaming with illegal weapons. The police took immediate action and detained him and recovered one country-made pistol and one magazine from him.

During the arrest, the police said that cases are already registered against Umashankar Singh under 01 riot, 01 Arms Act, and 419/420/406/120B sections. In this action, the team led by Superintendent of Police Shri Mohan Ramayan Singh, Police Station Incharge Umashankarganj District Bhojpur played an important role. The recovery includes one country-made pistol and one magazine.

The police have started further investigation in this regard. Bhojpur Police has called this action an important step towards crime control and public safety. Police has also shared information about this action through social media and appealed to the public for cooperation against criminals.
