BADAHARA MLA INSPECTED THE FLOOD AND HELD MEETING WITH THE OFFICIALS

ARA---------------------------Due to the rising water level of the Ganga river, various villages of Barhara assembly have been submerged. Communication of many villages has been disrupted and the rural people are facing problems.
On Monday, Barhara MLA Raghavendra Pratap Singh inspected the flood situation from Bakhorapur, Neknamtola, Barhara to Babura in the flood affected area along with flood control officials.
After flood inspection, Barhara MLA held a meeting with in-charge Block Development Officer Dipti Kumari, Circle Officer, Flood Control Executive Engineer, Road Executive Engineer, Road Assistant Engineer, officers of various departments and Mukhiyas of various Panchayats and Twenty Point Chairman in Barhara Block Office regarding the flood situation, preparation, problem and solution.
Barhara MLA gave instructions to the concerned departments.
The Circle Officer was given instructions to increase the number of polythene, availability of boats, arrangement of community kitchen and other instructions.
The heads of various panchayats talked to the MLA about availability of all flood related material in abundance, preparation of list of flood affected people and other facilities.
The Barhara MLA said that he has talked to the Bhojpur District Magistrate and asked him to increase the polythene and provide other material as soon as possible. Instructions have also been given for SDRF team and medical camp. The road department has been asked to strengthen the road and flood control has been asked to regularly inspect the flood. Any problem in the area will be resolved immediately. Arrangements have been made to ensure that there is no inconvenience in the flood affected villages. I myself am constantly keeping an eye on the flood in the area and the problems arising. I am in constant touch from the block to the district and the state level. In-charge Block Development Officer Deepti Kumari, Circle Officer Navneet Sinha, Flood Control Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Road Construction Officer, Mukhiya Sangh President Ritesh Kumar Singh, Semriya Padriya Panchayat Mukhiya Anil Singh, Babura Panchayat Mukhiya, Sinha Mukhiya Dhanji Prasad, Ekvana Panchayat Mukhiya representative, Twenty Point Programme Chairman Shubham Pandey, Tuntun Bind, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Santosh Singh Santu, Ujjwal Singh, Ramyan Singh along with other people and workers were present in the meeting.
