The flag will be saluted amid Vedic chants. Bells and gongs will ring throughout the temple complex as the flag is hoisted.
A 42-foot-tall pillar has been installed on the 161-foot-high peak of the Ram Temple. A 22-foot-long and 11-foot-wide flag will be hoisted on this pillar, visible from a distance of 3 km. What will happen at the event? What will PM Modi's movements be like? An automatic flag hoisting system has been installed to hoist the flag. This system will also be used for changing the flag. However, the Trust has not yet clarified at what intervals this flag will be changed. The flag will be able to rotate 360 degrees with the flow of wind. The Ram-Sita marriage festival is being celebrated for the first time at the Ram Temple. An estimated 8,000 people are expected to arrive during this time. A tent city is being set up in Tirthapuram to accommodate 2,500 of these people. Due to VIP movement on November 25th, common people will not be able to have darshan. According to the Trust, devotees will be able to have darshan only on November 26th. PM will visit Ram Temple for 3 hours. After Hanumangarhi, PM Modi will visit Ram Temple. PM Modi's visit to Ayodhya will be of 3 hours. He will reach Ayodhya at 11 am. PM Modi will visit Hanumangarhi before the Ram Temple. He will offer prayers there. He will visit Ram Lalla and Ram Darbar and perform aarti. During the Abhijit Muhurta, between 12 and 12:30 pm, PM Modi will hoist the flag at the 191-foot-high peak. The PM will also visit the Sapt Mandir fort, the Sheshavatar Temple, and the Shri D murals from the Ramayana. He will then meet the engineers and laborers working on the temple. A greenhouse has been set up for him behind the Maa Annapurna Temple. The SPG has taken over security here. The flag, made from parachute fabric by Ahmedabad artisans, is special in many ways. The flag, which will be hoisted at the Ram Temple, is made from a special nylon parachute fabric, which will protect it from sunlight, rain, and strong winds. It features a double-coated synthetic layer to reduce the effects of humidity and temperature. The flag bears symbols of the Surya dynasty, Om, and the Kovidar tree. Discussions are raging regarding whether the flag flying at the Ram Temple will be changed daily, similar to the one at Tirupati Balaji. According to the Trust, due to the automated system, priests will not have to ascend the peak to change the flag. Just as the flag is hoisted by pressing a button, it can also be lowered from the control room. Priests will easily change the flag. However, the frequency of the flag change has not yet been determined. Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra states, "Lord Ram was born during the Abhijit Muhurta (auspicious time). The flag hoisting will also take place during this auspicious time. His birth nakshatra (star) holds great significance in all activities related to the deity." The devotees will reside in the buildings designated by the Trust four days in advance. The flag hoisting and worship will begin in all temples within the Janmabhoomi Temple complex on November 21st. The Trust has designated different hosts for worship at all the temples. All hosts are householders. Among them are Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, and Radha Mohan, a trustee. All hosts will stay in the Shri Ram Temple complex or a building designated by the Trust from November 21st to 25th. Guests will not be allowed to bring mobile phones into the Ram Temple. Previously, guests were allowed to bring mobile phones to the November 25th ceremony. However, following the Delhi bombings, a change has been made. Now, guests will be prohibited from carrying mobile phones inside. On November 25th, all guests must enter the temple between 8 and 10 am. The Temple Trust has arranged for lunch for guests on the premises. Metal detectors, dog squads, and surveillance are being increased at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. 8,000 people are arriving, and a tent city has been set up in Teerth Kshetra Puram. The Ram-Sita marriage is being celebrated for the first time since the construction of the Ram Temple. In addition to Uttar Pradesh, guests have also been invited from Janakpuri (Nepal). RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and CM Yogi Adityanath will also be present at the celebrations. Over 5,000 rooms have been arranged to accommodate guests from across the country and the world. Of these, 1,600 rooms have been specially booked by the Ram Temple Trust to ensure guests face no inconvenience. A grand tent city is being constructed in Tirtha Kshetra Puram, which will accommodate approximately 1,600 people. To ensure guests do not face any food and drink problems, the Trust has arranged for food and Prasad at seven locations. Large LED screens will also be installed throughout the complex. Celebrations will begin seven days in advance, with the Ram Baraat procession (Ram Baraat) starting from 12 temples. The Ram Vivah celebrations in Ayodhya will begin seven days before the flag hoisting ceremony. Decorations will be visible in every home. The rituals of turmeric, oil, and baraat worship will begin in the temples. The walls of the entire city will be decorated with the flag of religion. On November 25th, a grand Ram Baraat (wedding procession) will be taken out from the major temples of Ayodhya. The Lord's wedding procession and tableaux will be taken out throughout Ayodhya from 12 temples, including Kanak Bhawan, Maniramdas Cantonment, Ramvallabhkunj, Rangmahal, Janaki Mahal, Shriramharshan Kunj, and Laxman Fort. The procession will begin at the temple where it originated and end there. Devotees will dance to the beats of devotional music, shehnai, and mridang. VHP Central Minister Rajendra Singh Pankaj says, "The wedding celebration will be held for the first time since the consecration of Ram Darbar on June 5th, 2025." The Trust is considering whether to hold the celebration in the temple premises or at the Angad Tila complex. Guests will receive 500 kg of laddus as Prasad. Guests coming to Ayodhya for the flag hoisting and Ram Vivah celebrations will not return empty-handed. To this end, the Trust is preparing 500 kg of laddus. These laddus will first be offered to Ram Lalla. They will then be distributed to guests as prasad. Renowned confectioners from around the country were consulted to prepare the prasad. Made from pure ghee, gram flour, and dry fruits, these laddus will be prepared in Ram Lalla's kitchen. Counters have been set up throughout the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. More than 10,000 lockers have been built for guests visiting Ayodhya, where devotees can deposit their belongings. Canopies have been installed along the 2-kilometer entry and exit routes to protect devotees from the sun and rain. The complex contains more than 30 trees from the Ramayana period. A 10-acre Panchavati (above-the-Ramayana temple) is being constructed. This will house monkeys, birds, and peacocks. A small reservoir is also being constructed.
