ADMINISTRATION IS GOING TO EXTREME IN THE NAME OF REMOVING ENCROACHMENTS: BHAI DINESH

RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA----------------------------On the death anniversary of the architect of the Constitution, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, I paid my respects to him and protested against the bulldozing of shops belonging to poor street vendors in Jagdishpur and Piro. The administration should show humanity by making arrangements to resettle the poor street vendors before removing them.

Why are permanent and temporary encroachments not being identified? I reached Laharabad and met the affected farmer family.

On the death anniversary of the architect of the Constitution, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, I garlanded his life-size statue in Jagdishpur Nagar Panchayat and protested against the bulldozing of shops belonging to poor street vendors in Jagdishpur and Piro, and also took stock of the situation. It is the responsibility, duty, and dharma of the government and administration to resettle the poor, not to displace them. The governments so far have failed to fulfill the dream of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's India. It is unfortunate that even after 89 years of independence, the citizens of the country do not have access to equal education, health, and justice.

When will the government and administration run bulldozers against the corruption rampant in block, circle, and sub-divisional offices, and against the economic exploitation of common people by private hospitals and private schools? First, the administration should make permanent arrangements for street vendors, vegetable vendors, fruit vendors, and meat vendors before displacing them.

I reached Laharabad in Piro block and, upon receiving information about the burning of three bighas of paddy belonging to Mahendra Paswan, I visited the site and took stock of the situation. The SDO of Piro was asked to assess the crop damage and provide compensation to the affected farmer under disaster management as soon as possible.

I expressed my anger that despite the SDO, BDO, CO, and Nagar Panchayat offices being located just two kilometers away, no official came to inquire about the situation. This is very sad and highly condemnable. Along with him were Sanjay Yadav, Shri Ram Singh, Harendra Singh, Anand Kumar, Chandan Bharti, Shambhu Singh, Ranjan Singh, Kamlesh Kumar, Sudarshan Singh, Kailash Pandit, Suresh Rai, Khelawan Bhagat, Mantu Yadav, Deepak Ram, Iqbal Ansari, Mohd Jamil, India Khan, and dozens of others.
