ACCUSSED SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR KIDNAPPING AND RAPING A MINOR GIRL

BHABHUA---------------------------In the court of Hon'ble Special Judge of POSCO Act, Kaimur Bhabhuan, Pramod Kumar Pandey, in Ramgarh case number 131/23 POCSO trial number 39/23, on the charge of kidnapping and raping a minor girl and abusing the victim and her family on caste lines, the primary accused of the case, Golu Singh alias Shashank Singh, son of Suchit Rai alias Suchit Narayan Singh, village- Taraiya, police station- Ramgarh, district- Kaimur, was found guilty under section 343/ 366/ 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 4 POCSO Act and 3(1)(w)(1) / 3(2)(5) SC/ST Act. The Hon'ble Court sentenced the accused to 25 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 40,000 under Section 4 of POCSO, 3 months additional imprisonment in case of non-payment of fine, 1 year imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1,000 under Section 343 of the Indian Penal Code, one month additional imprisonment in case of non-payment of fine, 7 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 10,000 under Section 366 of the Indian Penal Code, 3 months additional imprisonment in case of non-payment of fine, 1 year imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 1,000 under Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code, one month additional imprisonment in case of non-payment of fine, 2 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 5,000 under Section 3(1) (w)(1) of the SC/ST Act, one month additional imprisonment in case of non-payment of fine, life imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 50,000 under Section 3(2)(5) of the SC/ST Act, and 6 months additional imprisonment in case of non-payment of fine. All the sentences will run simultaneously.
