A RUCKUS OVER THE PAYMENT, DM ASKED FOR A REPORT FROM DEO

BUXAR-----------------------Dumraon MLA has sent a letter to the DM and raised objections over the payment to First Idea during the investigation. The alleged mafiagiri, corruption and misappropriation of government funds in the education department of Buxar and the wrongly selected housekeeping agency First Idea Digital Application Private Limited for Nawanagar, Dumraon and Itahari blocks do not seem to be getting rid of the controversies.

Now in this matter, a ruckus has been created by the letter sent by Dumraon MLA Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh to the Buxar DM. After this letter, DM Dr. Vidyanand Singh has sought a reply from the District Education Officer of Buxar within 24 hours on the payment of Rs 40 lakh, one thousand 622 made to the housekeeping agency First Idea on July 31 during the investigation period. The DM has also asked that when the investigation was going on under the leadership of Additional Collector (Departmental Investigation) Girijesh Kumar on the selection of First Idea, then why was the payment made to the said agency during the investigation period. Here, let us tell you that Dumraon MLA has alleged in his letter that the payment has been made to the said agency during the investigation with the aim of benefiting personal interest. Whereas the allegations leveled against the said agency have been confirmed in the investigation report of the officials. The investigation team formed under the leadership of Additional Collector (Departmental Investigation) has considered the selection of First Idea as faulty. In such a situation, the problems of the officials of the Education Department have increased due to payment to the said agency during the investigation period. If the links of the District Magistrate seeking a clear report from the District Education Officer in this matter after the letter of Dumraon MLA and the investigation committee led by the Additional Collector (Departmental Investigation) holding the selection of the housekeeping agency First Idea guilty in its investigation are connected, then the officials of the Education Department responsible for the payment during the investigation period are sure to be punished. Departmental sources say that the payment to the said agency during the investigation period has been made by Establishment DPO Vishnukant Rai under the pressure of the so-called education mafia Ajay Singh and Arvind Singh. It is clear from this that not only the housekeeping agency but also the officials of the Education Department are under the scanner in this matter. But, the big question now is whether the selection of First Idea will be cancelled after the selection is proved to be faulty in the investigation and the amount paid to it will be recovered. At the same time, now the people associated with the education department are getting more interested in the action of the District Magistrate that what action will the District Magistrate take and whether its wrath will be limited to the housekeeping agency only or whether action will be taken against the officials of the education department responsible for the selection of the housekeeping agency First Idea and illegal payment during the investigation period or this matter will also be gradually put on the back burner.

This is the first time in the education department of Buxar, which is often in the news due to controversies and irregularities, that more than 40 lakh rupees have been paid to the guilty agency during the investigation itself. This payment has become a proof of how much the so-called mafia dominates the education department and the departmental officials are so caught in the grip of the so-called mafia that they do not even care about the rules and administrative officials.

It is worth mentioning that before this, the Establishment DPO had shown courage in paying all the dues of the so-called mafia Ajay Singh's wife as soon as her suspension was lifted. This is the same Establishment DPO who, against the rules, parked more than one crore rupees in his government account instead of paying the contractors. In such a situation, departmental experts are not surprised by the payment made by him during the investigation period, but eyes are definitely fixed on the action of the District Magistrate because for the first time he has made the payment to the guilty agency without caring about the investigation of administrative officials, leaving the education department.
