SASARAM--------------------------Under the direction of Inspector-in-Charge Ram Vilas Ram, Sub-Inspector Upendra Kumar, Constable Abhimanyu Singh, Constable Sarvodaya Paswan, all from Railway Protection Force Post Dehri-on-Sone, and Head Constable 39 Mohd. Ajleem Ali, lady constable-292/Renu Kumari and lady constable/759 Jyoti Kumari both from GRP Dehri on Son, in view of the rush of passengers, were jointly patrolling and checking at Dehri on Son station and at about 21.00 hrs, a lady Pooja Devi, age-22 years, husband-Santosh Paswan, village-Varun, Bhuiya Toli, police station-Varun, district-Aurangabad (Bihar) was caught with illegal liquor in three bags under the overbridge situated on the eastern end of platform number 01, in which (01) total 16 bottles kept in a flowery plastic bag After Dark Blue, Rare Grain Whisky, Batch No-0410 dated-12.10.25 each 180 ML and price Rs.150, thus total 2 litre 880 ML total price-Rs.2400 (02) kept in a white colour plastic bag Total 34 bottles of Blue Lime Country Liquor Batch No-607-L-1 dated-14.11.25 each 200 ML and price Rs. 75, thus total 06 litre 800 ML total price- Rs. 2550 (03) Total 17 bottles of Blue Lime Country Liquor Batch No-607-L-6 dated-14.11.25 each 200 ML and price Rs. 75, thus total 03 litre 400 ML total price- Rs. 1275 were seized kept in a white colour plastic bag. *Thus total quantity of liquor seized is 13 litre 80 ML total price Rs. 6225* On asking the said lady about the liquor seized from her possession, she told that she had brought the liquor from Varanasi (UP) to sell it in Bihar. After which, all the seized liquor was seized after completing the paperwork on the spot and following the arrest rules, the female liquor smuggler was arrested and handed over to GRP Dehri on Son for further action.
