POLICE BUST SEX RACKET, FOUR MEN AND TWO WOMEN ARRESTED

BUXAR-------------------------The police have busted an alleged sex racket operating out of a private residence in the Vishnupuri locality (Ward No. 33), situated near the Shiv Temple on Jaso Road within the jurisdiction of the Mufassil Police Station. Acting on a tip-off, a police team arrived at the scene, conducted a raid, and took four men and two women into custody for questioning.

According to reports, the police also detained the house owner, Laxman Pandey, during the raid. It is reported that the incident was brought to the attention of the police by the accused's brother, Banshidhar Pandey, prompting the police to take swift action.

The raiding team included Itarhi Gumti Outpost In-charge Guddu Chaudhary, ASI Manoj Singh, ASI Siyaram Mahto, personnel from the Women's Armed Force, and other police officers. With the assistance of local residents, the police successfully detained the four men and two women found at the location.

However, the police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the matter. Sadar SDPO Gaurav Pandey stated that the case is currently under investigation and that further details can only be provided once the inquiry is complete.

Local residents allege that the house owner, Laxman Pandey, had previously been arrested—and even imprisoned—in 2018 on charges of allegedly running a sex racket from this very same house. Residents further claim that upon his release from jail, he once again became involved in similar illicit activities.

Currently, the police are actively investigating the entire case and are interrogating those taken into custody. The true nature of the incident is expected to become clear only after the investigation report is finalized.
