ARA----------------------The Nagar police station team raided a gambling den in Mahadeva Biscuit Lane on Thursday. During this, 9 gamblers were arrested for gambling. 4630 cash, 5 mobiles, 2 wooden boards, 2 copies, 13 slip cutters and 3 calculators were recovered from them. The SP said that the police received secret information that a gambling den was running in Mahadeva Road Biscuit Lane of Nagar police station area. After getting the information, the police took immediate action and raided. During this, nine people were arrested for gambling.
The arrested people include Sudhir Kumar, Kamlesh Kumar, Mohd. Abid, Amit Kumar, Sanjeev Soni, Krishna Kumar, Anil Kumar, resident of MP Bagh, resident of Ward No. 29 of Nawada police station area, Pradeep Kumar and Mohd. Firoz, resident of Chakia village of Mufassil police station area. The SP said that the police is taking legal action against the arrested people.
