‘MAKAS KAHANIKA’ ORGANIZED AN INTERNATIONAL KAVI SAMMELAN
With the aim of promoting Hindi literature at the international level, the first International Kavi Sammelan of the organization was organized with great pomp in Kathmandu, Nepal under the aegis of “Kahanika” Hindi magazine. This literary festival lasted from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, in which eminent poets, litterateurs and guests from the country and abroad made the program successful with their dignified presence. In this prestigious Kavi Sammelan, the deserving litterateurs and poets were awarded the "Vidya Sagar Honorary Degree 2025" by Kashi Hindi Vidyapeeth Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh for their achievements.

ARA------------------------With the aim of promoting Hindi literature at the international level, the first International Kavi Sammelan of the organization was organized with great pomp in Kathmandu, Nepal under the aegis of “Kahanika” Hindi magazine. This literary festival lasted from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, in which eminent poets, litterateurs and guests from the country and abroad made the program successful with their dignified presence. In this prestigious Kavi Sammelan, the deserving litterateurs and poets were awarded the "Vidya Sagar Honorary Degree 2025" by Kashi Hindi Vidyapeeth Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh for their achievements.
The program was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Guest Rekha Yadav MP, Representative Assembly Nepal by lighting the lamp with her lotus hands.
Thereafter, a melodious rendition of Ganesh Vandana was done by Dr. Lalita Mishra who had come from Dubai, after which Dr. Sheela Tiwari from Bokaro, Jharkhand presented a melodious Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Shyam Kunwar Bharti filled the atmosphere with devotion by singing Devi Geet and Shiv Vandana.
Sangita Thakur from Kathmandu, Nepal welcomed everyone by presenting the welcome song, after which the special guest Dilli Ram Sharma Sangrola gave a welcome speech and highlighted the purpose and importance of the program.
The stage was conducted by the coordinator and editor-in-chief of the magazine, Dr. Shyam Kunwar Bharti, in his charming style.
Wreaths, angavastra, Pashupatinath's Rudraksha garland, kahanika and a memento of Pashupatinath were presented to welcome the guests and poets.
The main attraction of the program was the excellent and melodious poetry recitation in various languages including Hindi, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Nepali and Tharu by poets from many countries including India, Nepal, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in which about two dozen poets enthralled the audience with their compositions. Among the participating poets, mainly Rekha Yadav of Mother Parliament, Representative Assembly, Nepal recited very emotional poetry on mother and daughter. Apart from this, Lalita Mishra from Dubai, Dr. Shyam Kunwar Bharti from Jharkhand, India, Sheela Tiwari and Dr. (Prof.) Sanjay Kumar, Chairman, Hindi Department, Y.B.N. University, Ranchi, Pandit Premdas Bairagi, Jabalpur, MP, Janakpur and Delhi Ram Sharma Nepal from Kathmandu Nepal, Dr. Ambika Aryal, Departmental Head, Nepali Department, Padmankanya Vermushudhi Campus Kathmandu, Prof. Dr. Sanjeeta Verma, Former Head of Department, Hindi Central Department, Tribhuvan University Kathmandu, Veena Sinha, Editor/Publisher "The Public" Hindi Monthly Magazine, Shailendu Prakash Nepal, Prof. Padmakanya Versatile Campus Nepal, Nandlal Chaudhary, Tharu litterateur, Dr. Srijana Sharma, Nepal litterateur, Upendra Das, Magahi litterateur, etc. many poets mesmerized everyone with their melodious poetry recitation in the event.
After this, the poets were honored by MP Rekha Yadav ji. Lalita Mishra Abu Dhabi, Satyendra Nath Gupta, Dubai, Shila Tiwari Bokaro, Jharkhand and Pandit Premdas Vairagi Jabalpur MP were decorated with “Vidya Sagar Honorary Award” and “Kahanika Pashupatinath Kavya Maharathi Award 2025” by Kashi Hindi Vidya Peeth.
Dr. Lalita Mishra ji, Abu Dhabi, Dhilli Ram Sharma ji, Kathmandu, Dr. Shyam Kunwar Bharti ji and Sabha President Prof. Dr. Akkal Dev Mishra ji gave motivational speeches on the relevance of Hindi literature by sharing their views. After this, a special discussion was organized on Hindi language, in which scholars like Binod Kumar Vishwakarma, Vice President, Hindi Central Department, Tribhavan University, Kathmandu Nepal, discussed the global form of Hindi. Apart from this, the poems and life of famous poet Gopal Singh Nepali were also discussed.
In the end, Delhitam Sharma, Kathmandu thanked all the poets and guests, and the meeting president Dr. Akkal Dev Mishra ji announced the end of the conference.
