ARA----------------------------A program was organized at BS College, Ara, as part of the Bihar Assembly Election Awareness Program organized by the SVEEP Cell, Bhojpur, and the National Service Scheme, BS College Unit. The program was chaired by the college principal, Prof. Dr. Abha Singh. The presence of SVEEP Cell Nodal Officer, Mrs. Hina, District Arts and Culture Officer, Anupriya, District Coordinator, Lohia Mission, Ranjay Baitha, District Project Officer, Amit Kumar, and BLO Trainer, Krishna Sharma, was notable. In her presidential address, the college principal underscored the importance of voting in a democracy, advising students not only to vote themselves but also to motivate their neighbors and relatives. The world's first democratic system began in the Lichchhavi Republic of Bihar. Today, efforts are underway to create awareness about voting.
In her address, she told the students that they must consider the rights they have received as their duty and exercise them.
India is the world's largest young democratic country. Voting is the strength of democracy. Therefore, be sure to vote and inspire others to do the same. On this occasion, students were encouraged to vote by highlighting the importance of voting. College ambassadors Nishant Kumar, Meera Kumari, and Pawan Tiwari, along with all campus ambassadors, played a key role in organizing this event. On this occasion, college students presented a street play in Bhojpuri on the importance of voting in democracy, urging them to exercise their right to vote in this grand festival of democracy. The performances of Jitesh, Sneha, Aditi, and Abhijeet were lively and impressive. The program was conducted by Amit Kumar Singh, and the vote of thanks was given by NSS program officer Manisha Kumari. All teachers and students were present on this occasion.
