WOMEN-CENTRIC MEETING ORGANIZED

ARA------------------------A meeting was organized at the residence of Ara Mayor Indu Devi on Monday under the seven-day election Pravas program being run by the Bharatiya Janata Party under the upcoming assembly elections 2025. This meeting was chaired by Mayor Indu Devi herself.

In the meeting, Ara Assembly in-charge Chinta Ojha, migrant sisters from State Headquarters in-charge (Jharkhand), State Vice President Sampa Shah and State Minister Archana Singh addressed the women. They informed about the benefits of public welfare schemes being run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi like Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Swanidhi Yojana, Ayushman Bharat and PM Awas Yojana and called for ensuring the reach of these schemes to as many women as possible.

The participation of women councilors of Ara Municipal Corporation was also special in the meeting. Ward 6 Councilor Malti Devi, Ward 22 Councilor Rekha Jain, Ward 37 Councilor Sita Devi, and Ward 42 Councilor Sandhya Devi shared their views on the progress of the ongoing works and schemes in their respective wards.

A large number of Jeevika Didis, Asha workers and women beneficiaries of various schemes were also present on this occasion. They shared their experiences and appreciated the work done by the BJP government.
