BHABHUA-------------------------In the Hata Nagar Panchayat under the subdivision, Bechu Sharma, father of the late Gupta Sharma, was returning home to his village, Saukhara, near Chand police station, with his wife Gangi Devi and daughter Archana Kumari on a bike. On the way, a speeding truck hit and crushed them near the Satauna bridge. The wife, identified as Gangi Devi, was killed on the spot. Bechu Sharma and his daughter Archana Kumari were seriously injured and were referred to Bhabua Sadar Hospital. Seeing the deceased, angry villagers blocked the Hata-Chakia road, blocking both sides of the road for three hours. When the family members did not listen to the Chainpur administration who arrived on the information of the incident, dozens of vehicles of the district including ASP DSP and all the officers from Chainpur including Block Development Officer, Circle Officer, Chairman of Nagar Panchayat Hata Ramesh Jaiswal reached the spot and after convincing the people, calmed the situation and the dead body was taken to Bhabua for post-mortem.
