A middle-aged woman from Buxar died after suffering burn injuries. She succumbed to her injuries in the burn ward of Sadar Hospital on Wednesday evening while undergoing treatment. The incident caused widespread panic among the public. According to reports, the deceased was Geeta Devi, 52, wife of the late Nagendra Prasad, a resident of Brahmapur village in the Brahmapur police station area of Buxar district.
It is reported that on the morning of November 27th, while cooking on a gas stove, she was caught in a fire and suffered severe burns. Her family brought her from Brahmapur to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment. She was undergoing treatment in the burn ward of Sadar Hospital.
She died on Wednesday evening during treatment. The family then took the body back to the village. The deceased reportedly has three daughters. The incident has left the deceased's family in a state of disarray. Her family members are inconsolable.
