ARA-------------------------Jansangh has expressed surprise at the opposition coalition's opposition to the intensive scrutiny of the voter list. National President of All India Jansangh Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that many voters are not at their addresses. Many people have passed away, so the list should definitely be revised. He said that during Operation Sindoor, lakhs of Pakistani citizens were found in some provinces. Bangladeshis, Rohingyas and other illegal foreigners are not only living in India but have also got many documents made. Therefore, this type of scrutiny is necessary every year. The Jansangh President said that when the then Chief Election Commissioner T N Seshan had first introduced the voter ID card, it was also strongly opposed, but today it is proving to be an essential and useful document. He said that the organization of all the political parties opposing the intensive revision of the voter list is active at the booth level. The Election Commission should be supported and the names of the correct voters should be added and the names of those who are ineligible should be deleted. Talking about boycotting the elections is extremely prejudiced.
