The Voter Rights Yatra organized by Mahagathbandhan started from Rohtas district on Sunday. In this historic rally organized in Suara Airport premises, all the senior leaders of Mahagathbandhan including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav gathered on one platform. The crowd gathered on this occasion further increased the enthusiasm of the leaders of Mahagathbandhan.
In the program, former President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Madan Jha claimed that this time the defeat of NDA is certain in Bihar and the public has ensured the victory of Mahagathbandhan. He said that this enthusiasm of the common people presents a glimpse of the "new Bihar".
At the same time, RJD Extremely Backward Cell General Secretary Guddu Chandravanshi expressed confidence that the Mahagathbandhan government will be formed in Bihar in the upcoming elections.
Rahul Gandhi said in his address that the people of Bihar will not allow vote theft in the assembly elections. He assured that he will continue to fight for the rights and rights of the common people from the road to the House.
Taking a dig at the political situation in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav said that "People of Bihar eat khaini mixed with lime, in the same way they will uproot the NDA."
Lalu Prasad Yadav doubled the enthusiasm of the crowd by attending the program despite his ill condition. He read the slogan "Lagal Lagal Jhulniya Mein Dhaaka" in his familiar style, on which the gathering echoed with applause and slogans.
The Mahagathbandhan's Voter Rights Yatra will start from Rohtas and cover a distance of 1300 kilometers in the next 16 days and pass through 20 districts of Bihar. The leaders say that the purpose of this journey is to unite the people and protect democratic rights.
After the public meeting, the leaders of the Mahagathbandhan reached Dehri. Here Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav were given a grand welcome in an open vehicle. Supporters greeted them by showering flowers. During this time, the crowd was so huge that heavy participation of men and women was seen at many places.
