ARA----------------------------Veer Kunwar Singh University's Psychology PG Science Department organized a one-day workshop. Dr. M.D. Aslam Parvez provided information on the technical and practical process of uploading PhD theses on Shodh Ganga.

The Department of Psychology, PG, Veer Kunwar Singh University, organized a one-day workshop on "Technical and Procedural Aspects of Uploading PhD Theses on Shodh Ganga" on Tuesday. The workshop was chaired by Professor Latika Verma, Head of the Department.

She stated that the uploading process on Shodh Ganga is an important step towards transparent, accessible, and reliable dissemination of research. The keynote speaker was Dr. M.D. Aslam Parvez (Senior Assistant Professor, Department of English, Jagjivan College, Ara).

During the lecture, Dr. Parvez introduced researchers and faculty members to the entire technical process of uploading theses on Shodh Ganga.

He gave a detailed presentation on the standards set by the University Grants Commission (UGC), thesis formatting, the requirement to attach a plagiarism report, and the various step-by-step processes of the e-thesis submission portal.

He explained that Shodh Ganga is an important national repository of research literature from across the country, where researchers' theses are not only preserved but also made accessible globally. He also discussed in detail common errors in the uploading system and ways to avoid them.

The program was conducted by Dr. Priyanka Pathak, who stated that this lecture would prove extremely useful for research scholars. A large number of researchers, faculty, and students participated in the program. The vote of thanks was given by Prof. Yashwant Kumar and Kumari Preetika.
