VILLAGERS EXPRESS ANGER AGAINST DEHRI MLA, ONE INJURED IN STAMPEDE, FIR LODGED

SASARAM---------------------------Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh faced strong opposition from villagers in Chilbila village, within the Dehri assembly constituency of Rohtas district, on Saturday. As soon as the MLA arrived in the village as part of his outreach campaign, angry villagers surrounded him and began shouting slogans against him. The protest escalated to such a violent scuffle and scuffle between the MLA's supporters and the villagers, resulting in one villager being injured.

According to reports, upon MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh's arrival in the village, villagers surrounded him and began shouting slogans in protest. The primary reason for the villagers' anger is said to be the MLA's controversial statement regarding Hindu deities and the temple. The MLA recently described the temple as a center of superstition and hypocrisy, which angered the Hindu community. The villagers asked the MLA to visit the temple, which enraged him and he began abusing them.

The situation worsened when the MLA's supporters began abusing and assaulting the agitated crowd. It is alleged that the MLA's supporters forcibly forced a villager, Rahul Kumar, into a vehicle, drove a short distance, and threw him from the moving vehicle, seriously injuring him. The injured Rahul Kumar was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident further fueled the villagers' anger.

Faced by the massive protests and growing anger among the villagers, MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh was forced to flee the village with his convoy. The villagers even chased his convoy. A video of the entire incident is going viral on social media.

Following this incident, an FIR has been filed against MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh and his supporters in Chilbila village under the Ayarkota police station under several serious sections, including attempt to murder. Due to the continuous controversial statements of the local MLA and such clashes with the villagers, tension prevails in Dehri assembly constituency.
