SASARAM------------------------Daughters are our pride. Today, daughters are doing everything that parents used to depend on their sons for. In education, sports, administration, the army, and business, among other fields, daughters are now making their mark. Now they are even flying airplanes. In this vein, Shreya Raj, daughter of Surendra Singh Yadav, a resident of Chaukhanda-Chitauli village in Sasaram block of Rohtas district, is now flying an Indigo Airlines aircraft as a pilot. While visiting her village, Shreya told this correspondent in an interview that no field is now untouched by girls. They have made their mark in every field. Shreya gives full credit for becoming a pilot to her late grandfather and socialist leader Indradev Singh Yadav and her parents. Shreya is an inspiration to all the girls who are moving in this direction. Shreya has brought honor to her village as well as the entire Shahabad region. On Shreya's achievement of becoming a pilot, senior journalists Dadanji Pandey, Saroj Kumar Pankaj, Jitendra Tiwari, former principal of SP Jain College Dr. Gurucharan Singh, Aam Aadmi Party state secretary Tej Pratap Yadav, senior advocate and social worker Siddharth Hitler, former president of Dehri Sub-divisional Bar Association Umashankar Pandey alias Mutur Pandey, social worker Rampukar Pandey alias Man Baba, state president of Manavhit Party Manoj Kumar Pathak, along with many journalists, intellectuals, and social workers, have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Shreya.
