VIBHA KUMARI WHO IS CONTESTING THE BHABHUA CONSTITUENCY TO CARRY FORWARD HER HUSBAND’S POLITICAL LEGACY

PATNA--------------------All parties have intensified their preparations for this year's assembly elections in Bihar. Prospective candidates are continuously engaged in their public relations campaigns. Speaking of the Bhabua constituency, Vibha Kumari is preparing to carry forward her husband's political legacy. She may contest on an RJD ticket.

It should be noted that Vibha Kumari's husband, Dr. Pramod Singh, won the Bhabua constituency in 2000, 2005, and 2010, becoming an MLA. Pramod Singh won the 2000-05 elections from the RJD and the 2010 elections from the LJP before joining the JDU. He served as the JDU's district president for Kaimur district for a long time. He died on January 21, 2025, due to respiratory illness.

CM Nitish Kumar spoke to Pramod Singh's family upon his death. His death sent a wave of grief through political circles. Having served as a three-term MLA from Bhabua for a long time, his wife has now entered the fray to revive her husband's political legacy. There's buzz in political circles that she will contest the elections as a RJD candidate, which has heated up the political scene. Vibha Kumari is working to complete her husband's unfinished development projects.

Vibha Kumari says, "My husband, Dr. Pramod Singh, was in politics for a long time. He served as the MLA from Bhabua for three consecutive terms. Now that he's gone, I've entered politics for the first time to carry forward his political journey. If the RJD high command gives me a seat, I will complete my husband's unfinished work. That's why I'm constantly engaging in public contact."

Vikas Kumar, son of former MLA Dr. Pramod Singh, said, "My father served as the MLA from Bhabua for three consecutive terms. Now that he's gone, it was my father's plan to bring my mother into politics." He used to say that his wife would contest the election this time, and that's why my mother is contesting the election today. He explained that the RJD seat hasn't been confirmed yet. If the high command gives the order, my mother will contest the election from Bhabua on behalf of the RJD.
