For this, the upgradation and expansion of a national language is also essential to establish a healthy dialogue with the entire nation. In the absence of a communication language, India is unable to communicate with its own brothers and sisters, which is essential for ideological unity.
These things were said by the Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav while inaugurating the provincial conference of officials of the district branches associated with the Sammelan at the Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan on Sunday. Mr. Yadav said that to make Hindi the national language, all Indians should abandon linguistic prejudice and think in the national interest. This is essential to save the country from English and anglicism, the people of the country must understand this. We ourselves should also think that Hindi should be used the most in our homes. The Bihar government has made Hindi the language of education in medical science. Similarly, education in other technical subjects will also be in Hindi. The Government of India is serious in this direction. We will see big changes in the near future.
While presiding over the conference, the President of Sahitya Sammelan, Dr. Anil Sulabh said that the purpose of organizing this provincial conference of the officers of the district branches of the Sammelan along with the provincial working committee is to strengthen the resolution of all the district branches to make Hindi the national language and to prepare them for the movement for this. He also made the district officials aware of the necessary schemes for the development of Hindi language and literature and inspired them to organize regular events and organize a convention once a year. Dr. Sulabh also provided affiliation letters to the officers of the concerned districts and also presented the calendar of annual programs and told that from now on, every year, like the Maha-adhiveshan, a separate provincial conference of the officers of the districts will be called.
Before this, all the participants were felicitated by applying tilak-chandan and presenting them with ang-vastram.
On this occasion, senior Katihar writer Kameshwar Pankaj's short story collection 'Algu aur Jumman' was released and affiliation letters were also provided to the related district conferences. Chief guest of the ceremony and Chairman of State Consumer Protection Commission Justice Sanjay Kumar, Senior Vice President of the conference Jiyalal Arya, Dr. Upendra Nath Pandey, Dr. Shankar Prasad, Dr. Madhu Verma, Senior writer Kiran Singh also expressed their views.
In the special session after the inaugural session, Dr. Brajendra Kumar Sinha, President of Saran District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Dr. Kanak from Muzaffar, Mahesh Kumar Ojha 'Mahesh' from Buxar, Dr. Baliraj Thakur from Bhojpur, Dr. Nandji Dubey, Mahendra Kumar 'Vikal' from Nalanda, Devendra Singh Azad from Lakhisarai, Arvind Kumar Bharti, Shashi Bhushan Singh from Vaishali, Dr. Kameshwar Pankaj from Katihar, Anand Kishore Mishra from West Champaran, Dinesh Chandra Dwivedi from Sitamarhi, Pradeep Kumar Pandey from Kaimur, Ramashray Prasad Sinha from Samastipur, Ranjan Kumar Prasad from Rohtas, Dr. Vasant Narayan Singh from Gopalganj presented the reports of their respective district conferences and reiterated their commitment to fulfill the resolutions of the conference. In the conference, the representatives were also told the ways and measures to remove the obstacles coming in the way of conducting the district conference. The program was conducted by publicity minister Kumar Anupam and vote of thanks was given by the conference's vice-president Dr Madhu Verma.
