ARA--------------------------Arjun Ram Meghwal, Honorable Minister of Law and Justice, Government of India, was accorded a grand welcome by Shri T.N. Thakur, Senior Standing Council, and his team at the CAT Bar Association auditorium, Niyojan Bhawan.

Welcoming the Minister, Shri T.N. Thakur said, "For the first time in the history of Patna CAT, since its inception in 1987, Union Law and Justice Minister Shri Meghwal came here at our request, and all of us advocates had the opportunity to welcome him."

At the event, Dr. K.N. Singh, ASG, Legal Cell; Shri Bindhyachal Rai, State Coordinator, Legal Cell; Shri Radhika Raman, Coordinator, Election Management Department; Rakesh Thakur, Coordinator, Election Commission Liaison Department; Shri Sarvdev Singh, Bihar Government's retainer at CAT; Shri S.K. Bariyar, Dr. Shivkumar, Sunil Kumar, etc., from the CAT Bar welcomed him with a shawl and bouquet of flowers. The event was presided over and conducted by Tarkeshwar Nath Thakur. T.N. Thakur welcomed him with the Ashoka Pillar symbol and a robe.

The Minister listened to the problems of the advocate friends one by one carefully and assured them of serious consideration. He was welcomed by Advocates Rajesh ji, Chandan ji and Vinod Paswan etc. of the Bar Council.

On this occasion, the Honorable Law and Justice Minister was informed one by one about the problems of the advocate community, mainly the problem of sitting of advocates in the court, in which the fee hike of the advocates of the Government of India was increased and a demand was made for one more bench in the CAT Patna Bench, on which the Honorable Law Minister said that we have taken note of your suggestion and it will be implemented immediately.
