TWO WARD COUNCILLORS OF DEHARI AND ONE NOKHA DISQUALIFIED FOR HIDING FACTS

SASARAM----------------------There is a stir when the State Election Commission cancelled the membership of three other ward councillors along with action against ward councillor Sameer Alam of Dehri Dalmianagar Municipal Council of the district, teacher and ASI brother who came to his rescue.

The State Election Commission has cancelled the membership of three councillors of different municipal bodies of Rohtas district. At the same time, a letter has been written for action against the teacher and ASI brother of the councillor working in another district. The membership of three ward councillors of Dehri Dalmianagar and Nokha Municipal Council of Rohtas has been cancelled in the case of hiding facts.

District Deputy Election Officer Pushkar Kumar said that the State Election Commission has cancelled the membership of two councillors of Dalmianagar Dehri Municipal Council and one councillor of Nokha Municipal Council in the case of hiding facts. He informed that Councillor of Ward 19 of Dalmianagar Dehri Nagar Parishad, Anita Devi had concealed the facts which was complained by Pinky Singh, while Councillor of Ward 20, Sameer Alam had concealed the facts which was complained by Ravi Paswan.

Ward Councillor of Ward 8 of Nokha Nagar Parishad, Bhim Singh had also concealed the facts which was complained by Yogesh Singh. After all these complaints, a team was formed on the instructions of the District Magistrate. Where the allegations of the complainant were found to be correct. After this, District Deputy Election Officer Pushkar Kumar placed the truth of the complaint before the Commission on the instructions of the DM along with evidence. On which the State Election Commission has cancelled the membership of two ward councillors of Dalmianagar Dehri Nagar Parishad of Rohtas and one ward councillor of Nokha Nagar Parishad in the case of concealing facts.

In the Dalmianagar Dehri Nagar Parishad case, apart from Ward Councilor 20 Sameer Alam, action has been taken on the instructions of the Commission against his two brothers who work at different places and had given wrong information in this matter.

Complainant Ravi Paswan told that Ward Councilor Sameer Alam's two brothers work at different places, one of whom is a teacher in Buxar district while the other is working as ASI in Patna district, both of them had defended their ward councilor brother Sameer Alam before the Commission and called his child their own child. On which the Commission has written for action against both the brothers of the ward councilor.

It was told that the State Election Commission has also written a letter to DM Rohtas for further action. Dalmia Nagar Dehri Nagar Parishad complainant Ravi Paswan told that during the 2022 elections, Sameer Alam and his wife had filed nomination where both of them had shown different number of children while hiding the fact.

Similarly, Pinky Singh had accused Ward Councilor Anita Devi and Yogesh Singh had also accused Nokha Nagar Parishad's Ward Councilor Bhim Singh of hiding facts.

After the veracity report of which, the State Election Commission has taken this action. This has created a stir.
