According to reports, the deceased include 10-year-old Priyanshu Kumar, son of Ram Babu Ram, a resident of Ward No. 2 of Puraini Khurd village, under the Agiaon Bazar police station area, and 20-year-old Kanchan Kumari, daughter of Ram Babu Ram.

The deceased boy's uncle stated that he was sleeping on a bed with his elder sister Kanchan Kumari at home on Saturday night. At 2 a.m., they were bitten by a venomous snake. Both are in critical condition. Their family brought them from Piro PHC to Sadar Hospital for treatment. After receiving first aid, they were referred to Patna for better treatment.

But the family took them to Pratap Sagar in Buxar district for treatment, from where they were referred to Patna. Meanwhile, their elder sister, Kanchan Kumari, died. Her body was cremated by the family without a post-mortem examination. Priyanshu Kumar was taken to PMCH for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Monday midnight.

The family brought his body back to the village and informed the local police station. Upon receiving the information, the local police station arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and conducted a post-mortem examination at Sadar Hospital. It is reported that the deceased, Kanchan Kumari, was the eldest of two brothers and two sisters. She had graduated, while the deceased, Prince Kumar, was the second of his two brothers and two sisters. His family includes a brother, Suraj, and a sister, Ayushi Kumari. The deceased boy's mother, Baby Devi, died of illness three years ago. This incident has caused chaos in her home.
