ARA------------------------------Bihar once again fell prey to high speed and negligence. In the night, near the private bus stand over bridge in Nawada police station area of Ara city, an uncontrolled auto hit two friends riding a bike in such a way that both of them died on the spot. There is chaos in the area after the accident and the family members are crying inconsolably.

The deceased have been identified as Ajit Kumar (28 years) and Rahul Kumar alias Tutu (30 years). Both were residents of Anaith Paswan Toli of Nawada police station area and were close friends. Ajit used to work as a laborer in a tent house, while Tutu also belonged to a normal family.

The family members said that before the incident, Anish Kumar of the same locality was shot, who was undergoing treatment in a private hospital located in Babu Bazar. Both the friends had gone to the hospital by bike to see him and while returning, an auto hit them directly near the over bridge.

The accident was so terrible that Ajit Kumar died on the way, while Rahul Kumar died during treatment in Ara Sadar Hospital. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and post-mortem of both the bodies was done.

This tragic accident has sent a wave of mourning in the entire locality. Ajit was the youngest among his six brothers and two sisters. Now his untimely death has shattered the entire family. People are angry with the administration that no one has control over illegal autos and traffic irregularities in the over bridge and bus stand area. However, the biggest question is whether these deaths due to speeding and negligence will continue like this, or will the system wake up now?
