TRUCK CRUSHED A DOCTOR TO DEATH

ARA--------------------------40-year-old Rajbir Thakur was crushed to death on the spot by an uncontrolled cement-laden truck at Kolharampur on the Ara-Chhapra four-lane in Bhojpur district in morning. He was the son of Patiram Thakur, a resident of Suarmarwa in the Maner police station area of ​​Patna district. He was a rural doctor by profession and worked as a medical doctor while living with his family in Baburbani in the Koilwar police station area.

This morning, Thakur had come to a petrol pump near Kolharampur to buy fuel. Meanwhile, an empty truck crossed the divider, ran over Rajbir, who was passing by, and fled towards Koilwar. Following the incident, villagers became enraged, blocking the four-lane and even resorting to arson. Police from Baburbah police station arrived at the scene upon receiving information. The crowd refused to budge, demanding compensation. The situation was resolved three hours later after police officers tried to pacify the situation. After that, the Panchnama of the dead body was prepared and sent to Sadar Hospital, Ara for postmortem. On hearing the news of death, mother Shailkumari Devi, wife Poonam Devi and the entire family started crying. The deceased has five children. In which there are three daughters and two sons. The eldest daughter 18 year old Nidhi Kumari, 10 year old Chulbuli Kumari and 7 year old Aanchal Kumari, 14 year old son Anup Kumar and 5 year old Ashish Kumar have lost their father forever.
