ARA--------------------------The body of a newly married woman was found hanging from the ceiling latch on Thursday morning in Ahirpurwa locality of Town police station area of ​​Ara city. Semi-circular round marks were found on the neck of the deceased and her tongue was found stuck between her teeth. The family is saying that she committed suicide. The incident created a sensation in the surrounding area. According to the information, the deceased is Babli Devi, 19-year-old wife of Vikas Kumar, resident of Ahirpurwa locality ward number-29 of Town police station area.

On the other hand, as soon as the information was received, the Town police station reached the spot and took information from the people around. After this, the FSL team was called by the police. On receiving the information, the FSL team also reached the spot and left after collecting many evidences from the spot. A small gas cylinder was found standing near the feet of the deceased. Due to which it is being speculated that the deceased has committed suicide by climbing on the same cylinder by tying a dupatta around her neck. The police took the body in their custody and got the postmortem done in Sadar Hospital.

Pramila Devi, the mother of the deceased, a resident of Kulhadia village of Koilwar police station area, said that she was having a love affair with her cousin for some years. Regarding which she explained to her daughter many times. But she was not ready to believe anything. Rather she used to threaten them that she will get you people into trouble. In the month of July last year, she eloped with her cousin Vikas and got married. Since then there was no communication between the two families.

On Thursday, the local people of Ahirpurwa called her and informed that your daughter has hanged herself. After getting the information, when she reached Ahirpurwa, she saw that her daughter was hanging from the latch of the roof with a dupatta tied around her neck. Vikas Kumar, a tenant in the same house, said that he sells ice cream. He lives with his wife and children in another house. Sometimes he used to sleep in this house at night.

He said that the door of her room remained closed 24 hours a day and she was always busy on the phone. On Thursday morning, when my daughter woke up and went and pushed the door of her room, the door was open. As soon as the door opened, he saw that she was hanging. Then he went and told her that Papa aunty is hanging. After which he came there and informed the landlord Sudama Rai about it. After which the people around also gathered. After this, he informed the local police station about it. She ran away from home and married her cousin in Delhi

While according to the information received, Babita Devi was having an affair with her cousin Vikas Kumar for about three years. However, Babita Devi's family was not ready for the marriage. Due to which she ran away with her cousin Vikas Kumar in July last year and got married in Delhi. They had rented a house in Ahirpurwa locality about one and a half months ago. After this, after staying there for 15 days, both of them went to Bangalore. After four days in Bangalore, her husband Vikas Kumar sent her back to Ara alone by train.

On Wednesday evening, there was an argument between the husband and wife on the phone. After which she hanged herself by tying a scarf around her neck. However, the reason why she hanged herself is not yet clear. However, the police is investigating the matter at its level. At the same time, there is also a discussion in the locality about the deceased playing online betting from mobile.

It is said that the deceased was second among her two brothers and two sisters. Her family consists of Pramila Devi, a brother Kartik and a sister Riya Kumari. Her elder brother Ganesh was murdered in the year 2020 and the body was thrown near the Kulhadia railway track. After the incident, there is chaos in the house of the deceased. All the members of her family are crying inconsolably.
