THREE NEW DEPARTMENTS ALLOCATED IN BIHAR

PATNA-------------------------Three new departments were approved in the Nitish cabinet meeting held on December 9th.  Consequently, the responsibilities of these three departments were assigned to ministers on Saturday, meaning the departments have been distributed.

Under this arrangement, the responsibility of the Higher Education Department has been given to Minister Sunil Kumar, while the Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department has been entrusted to Minister Sanjay Singh Tiger. Notably, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has kept one of these departments, Civil Aviation, with himself.

Thus, Minister Sunil Kumar now has the responsibility of three departments. Previously, he also held the portfolios of the Education Department and the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department. Arun Shankar Prasad has been given the Tourism and Art and Culture departments. Meanwhile, Surendra Mehta has been given the responsibility of the Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources Department.

As for Minister Sanjay Singh Tiger, he previously held the portfolio of the Labour Resources Department, but the name of this department has now been changed to the Labour Resources and Migrant Workers Welfare Department. Minister Sanjay Singh Tiger now holds two departments.
