BHABHUA---------------------------As the 2025 Assembly elections approach, political activity has intensified. In this context, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has announced its candidates for three of the four assembly seats in Kaimur district. This move is being considered a major electoral move for the party. District President Chhote Lal Ram formally announced this in a press conference.
According to the announcement, Vikas Singh alias Lallu Patel has been nominated for the Bhabua assembly seat, Om Prakash Deewana for the Mohania seat, and Satish alias Pintu Yadav for the Ramgarh assembly seat. The name for the Chainpur seat is still pending. The district president clarified that this decision was made under the guidance of the party's national president, Mayawati, central in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Gautam, and Bihar in-charge Anil Kumar Patel.
Vikas Singh alias Lallu Patel expressed his happiness at being nominated for the Bhabua seat, saying it was a big responsibility for him. Expressing gratitude to the party leadership, he said that he has been connected with the people for years and has stood with the people of the region through thick and thin. Lallu Patel claimed that this time he will receive the public's blessings and that a "wind of development" will blow through the Bhabua Assembly constituency.
Om Prakash Deewana, the candidate from Mohania, and Satish alias Pintu Yadav, the candidate from Ramgarh, also appealed to the public to give the BSP a chance so that regional problems can be resolved and justice can be provided to every section of society.
Following this announcement by the BSP, the political situation in Kaimur district has become increasingly tense. Political experts believe that the party has selected candidates keeping caste and social factors in mind. Now it remains to be seen whether this masterstroke by Mayawati will strengthen the BSP in the electoral arena.
