THREE ARRESTED ALONG WITH A QUACK FROM ROHTAS FOR BUYING A NEWBORN

ARA-------------------------The police of Garhani police station in Bhojpur district have achieved a major success in a case involving the sale of a newborn immediately after birth. The police have arrested a quack doctor from Rohtas and his two accomplices who bought the newborn child. Both were arrested in Piro based on the information provided by Dr. Dilip alias Harishankar Pandit. Besides Dr. Dilip, the arrested include Bunty Kumar, a resident of Andhari Bagh village in Tiyar police station area, and Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Vishambharpur village in Kasma police station area of ​​Aurangabad.

Bunty Kumar is a staff member of a private clinic in Piro, while Sandeep Kumar runs a nursing home in Goh, Aurangabad. The main accused, Dr. Dilip alias Harishankar Pandit, is a resident of Hunkadih village in Suryapura police station area of ​​Rohtas district. He also runs clinics in Dinara, Rohtas, and other places. However, the newborn has not yet been recovered. The police are continuously conducting raids based on the information provided by Dr. Dilip.

Station House Officer Kamaljeet said that due to continuous police pressure, the main accused in the case of buying the newborn, Dr. Dilip alias Harishankar Pandit, surrendered at the Garhani police station. Based on his information, Bunty Kumar was apprehended in Piro, while Sandeep Kumar was caught in Aurangabad. Raids are being conducted to recover the newborn based on the information provided by all three. After questioning, the police sent all three to jail.

It should be noted that on December 7, Khushboo Kumari, wife of Chitranjan Kumar, a resident of Narayanpur village, gave birth to a son. Immediately afterward, Khushboo's mother-in-law, Krinta Devi, sold her newborn grandson to Dr. Dilip for fifty thousand rupees with the help of a neighboring woman and her relative. Following the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) by Khushboo Kumari on December 16, the police took swift action and arrested Khushboo Kumari's mother-in-law, Krinta Devi, Kavita Sharma from the same village, Kavita Sharma's relative and Home Guard constable Chandni Sharma from Ara, and Preeti Kumari, an assistant to the doctor. Since then, the police had been conducting raids to arrest Dr. Dilip and recover the newborn. In the course of these raids, Dr. Dilip alias Harishankar Pandit surrendered.

In the case of a woman selling her newborn grandson due to her displeasure with her son and daughter-in-law's love marriage, the police have so far arrested seven accused, including the grandmother, and are now focused on recovering the child. The police are also trying to uncover the entire child trafficking operation. It is being said that Home Guard constable Chandni Sharma played the most significant role in selling the newborn. It is alleged that at the behest of Kavita Sharma, she contacted a quack doctor in Rohtas.

According to sources, she brokered the deal for the newborn for approximately three and a half lakh rupees. The child's grandmother was given 50,000 rupees. However, the police have not yet confirmed this. The police are investigating the matter. According to sources, the child has been sent to Jharkhand. The police are questioning the doctor and his associates to recover the child. Meanwhile, following the arrest of Home Guard constable Chandni Sharma in this case, preparations are underway for departmental action against her. Station House Officer Kamaljeet stated that a report is being sent against her.
