PATNA------------------------Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while launching the election campaign for the assembly elections from the land of Jananayak Karpuri Thakur on Friday, said that Bihar will stay away from those who bring jungle raj. Launching a scathing attack on the Grand Alliance, the PM said that the way they are fielding people clearly shows that they want to bring back jungle raj. The PM said, "The Thugbandhan members are already threatening to take away people from their homes with pellets, pistols, and double-barreled guns." He said, "We must be wary and vigilant of them."
The Prime Minister arrived at the NDA rally held at Dudhpura Airport Ground, just one and a half kilometers from the Jananayak's village, wearing a towel bearing Karpuri's picture. Before the rally, the PM visited Karpuri Village and paid homage to the Jananayak's statue. At the rally, the Prime Minister said that the NDA government is prioritizing the deprived, the backward classes, and serving the poor. Jananayak is a beacon of light for us. The path of social justice shown by him is the inspiration for our government's good governance.
This time, Bihar will give the biggest mandate: The PM said that in the past 11 years, people have repeatedly given the BJP opportunities in various states. Maharashtra formed our government with a massive mandate. In Haryana, we were given more seats for a third term than before. We also achieved a landslide victory in Madhya Pradesh. The same trend was seen in Gujarat and Uttarakhand. In Gujarat, the two-decade-old government achieved a record victory. In Uttar Pradesh, where power changed hands frequently, people also gave us a second chance. This shows that the NDA, under Nitish Kumar's leadership, is going to break all records of victory. This time, Bihar will give the NDA its biggest mandate.
Taking aim at the NDA, the Prime Minister said that it was October 2005 when Bihar was liberated from jungle raj. Nitish Kumar's good governance began. At that time, the Congress and RJD were in power at the Centre. The Central Government kept creating obstacles in Nitish Kumar's path for ten years. RJD has been taking revenge on you for forming Nitish Kumar's government. The PM said, "RJD used to threaten Congress that if they gave Bihar a major project, they would withdraw their support. Nitish Kumar kept working and saved Bihar from a big crisis."
The Prime Minister spoke for 45 minutes at the Samastipur rally. During this, he mentioned "Jungle Raj" 17 times, targeting the Grand Alliance.
People out on bail are stealing the title of "People's Leader": The Prime Minister said that people out on bail in scams worth thousands of crores are so habitual that they are now engaged in stealing the title of "People's Leader." The people of Bihar will never tolerate this disrespect to Karpoori.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the good governance the people of Bihar have experienced in recent years is the result of Nitish Kumar's leadership and the NDA government's development policies. Now is the time to take Bihar into a new era of prosperity through good governance. He was addressing a public rally at the Ulaav Airport Ground on Friday in support of the NDA candidates.
The Prime Minister attacked the Congress and RJD, saying that these parties have consistently practiced nepotism and corruption. He alleged that even today, top leaders of the RJD and Congress are out on bail. As soon as the Grand Alliance comes to power, it will once again plunge the future of the youth and the state's investment climate into darkness. He said that a new identity of industrial development is being established across Bihar, including Begusarai. The petrochemical project in Barauni, uninterrupted 24-hour power supply, highways, expressways, and bridges over the Ganga are accelerating the state's economic progress. He said that employment has been provided to the youth in Bihar, housing for the poor, free medical treatment, and gas connections. The Prime Minister described women's empowerment as the NDA government's priority. He said that the NDA practices politics of public concern and development, while the opposition is embroiled in caste and family politics. The Prime Minister said that this pace of development in Bihar is possible only if the people support a stable and strong leadership. The Prime Minister appealed to vote in favor of the NDA on November 6th, saying that every vote will be a step towards making Bihar prosperous.
