The sacrifices made by the seven immortal martyrs who were crazy about freedom on 11 August 1942, namely Umakant Prasad Singh, Ramanand Singh, Satish Prasad Jha, Jagatpati Kumar, Devipad Chaudhary, Rajendra Singh and Ram Govind Singh, were remembered and tribute was paid to them by saluting them.

PATNA-------------------------The sacrifices made by the seven immortal martyrs who were crazy about freedom on 11 August 1942, namely Umakant Prasad Singh, Ramanand Singh, Satish Prasad Jha, Jagatpati Kumar, Devipad Chaudhary, Rajendra Singh and Ram Govind Singh, were remembered and tribute was paid to them by saluting them.
A state function was organized at Shaheed Smarak Complex, Patna to pay tribute to the immortal martyrs. In the state function, Governor Shri Arif Mohammad Khan and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar garlanded the statue of the martyrs and paid them a heartfelt tribute.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Kumar Sinha, Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council Mr. Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly Mr. Nand Kishore Yadav, former minister Mr. Shyam Rajak and other public representatives, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Dr. S. Siddharth, Chief Minister's Secretary Mr. Kumar Ravi, Patna Division Commissioner Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, family members of the immortal martyrs and other dignitaries garlanded the statue of the immortal martyrs and paid their emotional tribute.
After this, Governor Mr. Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Kumar Sinha, Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council Mr. Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly Mr. Nand Kishore Yadav and other dignitaries went to Shaheed Park located in the Secretariat premises and offered floral wreaths in front of Amar Jyoti and paid homage to all the immortal martyrs of the freedom struggle. On this occasion, artists of the Information and Public Relations Department presented Bihar songs and patriotic songs.
