PATNA--------------------------The Grand Alliance has suffered a setback, with Paras' RLJP (Republic of National People's Party) exiting the Grand Alliance. Former Union Minister and RLJP supremo Pashupati Kumar Paras made a major announcement, stating that the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party will no longer be a part of the Grand Alliance.
On Wednesday, Pashupati Kumar Paras stated bluntly that his party will now contest the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections in alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM. He stated that the people of Bihar are now looking for a new alternative, and therefore, the RLJP and AIMIM will give Bihar a new direction.
Exiting the Grand Alliance, Pashupati Kumar Paras stated that the promises made to the people were not fulfilled, and therefore, a new trend should be given a chance in Bihar. According to political pundits, this alliance could harm the Grand Alliance in Bihar.
