TERROR OF A DRUNK POLICEMAN IN A STATE WHERE LIQUOR IS PROHIBITED

PATNA-----------------------------A sensational incident which flouted the liquor prohibition law of Bihar has deeply hurt the reputation of the police department. Late night on Saturday, in Shivpuri Colony Road No. 02 of Gaya Mufassil police station area, a drunk policeman created such a ruckus that the whole family trembled in fear. The video of the incident is now viral, in which the policeman is seen in underwear.

According to the information, the accused policeman got the gate of Sanjay Singh alias Bablu Singh's house opened at around 11:30 pm, claiming to be from the police station. As soon as he entered inside in the name of "investigation", he sat there and started pouring liquor. In a drunken state, he asked the children for water and dalmoot and then pressurized the family and directly demanded 50 thousand rupees

When the family refused to give the money, the policeman's temper rose to the seventh sky. He started creating a ruckus in the house. He misbehaved with the younger son Aditya and tried to misbehave with the female member. The woman somehow saved her life by locking herself in the room, but the drunk policeman was hell bent on breaking the door.

According to eyewitnesses, the accused policeman kept spreading terror inside the house for about three hours. He kept threatening again and again - "Give 50 thousand rupees, otherwise I will destroy the house." During this time, the whole locality kept watching the spectacle in fear, no one could muster the courage to directly confront him.

Finally, the victim's family called the police by dialing 112. On receiving the information, the team reached the spot and controlled the drunk policeman. When the police was taking him to the police station, he was only in underwear. This scene was captured in CCTV and mobile cameras, which is now rapidly going viral on social media.

Giving clarification on the incident, Mufassil Inspector SK Dwivedi first said, "Has the policeman gone to raid?" But when he was shown the video, he started looking away and said that the matter will be investigated.

At present, the accused policeman Raju Kumar Singh was taken into custody, but later he disappeared on the pretext of getting treatment. Police say that he is being searched and further action will be taken after the investigation is completed.

Meanwhile, on behalf of the victim's family, Rishu Raj has given a written application in the Mufassil police station. The family alleges that the policeman had threatened to kill and destroy the house.
