TEENS DIES, SIX INJURED ON KOCHAS-CHAUSA ROAD

A 12-year-old boy died and six people were injured in a road accident on Kochas-Chausa road in Rajpur, Buxar. People of Hankarpur village were returning from Mundeshwari Dham when a truck hit their tempo. The condition of the boy's mother is critical. Police is investigating the matter. A 12-year-old boy died on the spot while six people were injured in a road accident on Saturday night near Bashi bridge on Kochas-Chausa main road in the local police station area. The deceased has been identified as Aryan Kumar, son of Satyadev Paswan, a resident of Hankarpur village of Nagpur Panchayat. All the injured are undergoing treatment in Varanasi.

The deceased has been identified as Aryan Kumar, son of Satyadev Paswan, a resident of Hankarpur village of Nagpur Panchayat. All the injured are undergoing treatment in Varanasi.

According to the information, on the day of Rakshabandhan, many people of Hankarpur village had gone to visit Mundeshwari Dham in Kaimur district in a tempo. While returning late in the evening after the darshan, at around 10 o'clock, as soon as the tempo crossed the Bashi bridge and reached near Geeta Nagar Basti, a truck coming from the opposite direction at a high speed hit it hard. After the collision, there was a lot of shouting on the spot. Taking advantage of the darkness, the truck driver fled with the vehicle.

With the help of the villagers, the injured were brought to the community health center in Rajpur, where doctors declared Aryan dead. The other injured were referred to Varanasi for better treatment. The injured include the deceased's mother Neelam Devi, 18-year-old Alok Kumar (father Sikandar Paswan), 12-year-old Anupam Kumar (father Sikandar Paswan), 12-year-old Ankit Kumar (father Jyoti Paswan) and 14-year-old Vishnu Sah (father Santosh Sah). Neelam Devi's condition is said to be critical.

PACS President Angad Singh and other villagers who reached the spot have demanded proper compensation to the family of the deceased. The police have sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police station in-charge Sanjay Paswan said that after receiving the application, the matter will be investigated and necessary action will be taken.
