TEAM BHOJPUR ACTIVE REGARDING OXYGEN PLANT

ARA---------------------------Social organization "Team Bhojpur", which constantly raises issues related to public interest, has once again drawn the attention of the government and administration towards the serious health system. This time the matter is of the oxygen plant lying idle for years in the sub-divisional hospital, Jagdishpur of Bhojpur district, whose dilapidated condition can become life-threatening in any emergency situation.

Team Bhojpur has sent a detailed letter regarding this issue to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, District Magistrate Bhojpur and Civil Surgeon Bhojpur. In the letter, the team has demanded that this oxygen plant should be made functional with immediate effect so that the area can be protected from any epidemic or health crisis like Kovid-19 in future.

According to the inspection done by Team Bhojpur, the oxygen plant of Sub-Divisional Hospital, Jagdishpur has been closed for a long time. The machines of the plant are in a dilapidated condition and lack of maintenance is clearly visible. Due to the negligence of the hospital administration and departmental apathy, this extremely important plant has become out of use today.

Recalling the horrors of the Covid period, the members of Team Bhojpur said that at that time when the patients were gasping for breath, the lack of oxygen took away many lives. Learning from that experience, having a functioning oxygen plant in every hospital is the biggest need of the hour.

Team Bhojpur has emphasized in the letter that health facilities in rural areas are already limited, and in such a situation, if an emergency situation arises, the situation can take a dire form. A functioning oxygen plant not only helps in saving the lives of patients, but also makes the hospital self-reliant.NThe letter also mentions that if action is not taken soon, this issue can lead to a major public health disaster in the future.

Team Bhojpur has requested the Chief Minister and Health Minister to take personal interest in this matter and instruct the concerned officials to take immediate action. Along with this, District Magistrate Bhojpur and Civil Surgeon have also been requested to inspect and get the necessary repair work done and start this plant as soon as possible.

It should be known that Team Bhojpur is an active social organization, which has been continuously demanding solutions by bringing issues related to health, education and administrative irregularities on the public platform. This time also the organization has given voice to the concerns of the general public and has expressed hope that the government and administration will take cognizance of this and take concrete steps soon. After this initiative of Team Bhojpur, there is a wave of hope among the local people. Villagers say that if this plant starts again, then dozens of nearby villages will get great benefit of health facilities.
