Nandan Kumar Singh (50), a teacher from Chilhar village in Buxar district, died after being shot during the Jaimala ceremony. There was chaos as soon as the bullet hit him, and he was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

According to information, Nandan Kumar Singh had come to attend his cousin's wedding. Meanwhile, some youths in front of the stage began firing continuously with pistols and other weapons. A bullet struck Nandan Kumar Singh in the chest. The deceased's brother, Chandan Kumar Gautam, stated that four youths, including Avinash, Abhiranjan, and Rohit, were seen firing with weapons during the jaimala ceremony.

Nandan Kumar Singh was currently a teacher at Bishanpura Middle School and lived with his family in Pandey Patti, Buxar City.

The news of Nandan's death, a father of two young children, has caused an uproar among his family members. A pall of gloom has descended on his ancestral village.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Shivsagar police arrived at the scene and began an investigation, sending the body for a post-mortem examination.
