SASARAM---------------------------Information has come to light about damage caused by anti-social elements to government hoardings installed for the promotion of government's public welfare schemes at various places in the district. Apart from this, in recent times, cases of many political parties putting up their flexes on government hoardings without any permission have also come to light.
In this regard, District Information and Public Relations Officer (DPRO) Ashish Ranjan said that such activities on government hoardings are completely illegal and unacceptable. Putting up flex without permission or damaging government publicity material not only hinders government work, but also creates serious hindrance in conveying information about public welfare schemes to the general public.
The DPRO clearly said that such actions will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He has appealed to the general public to cooperate in the protection of government hoardings and if such illegal activity is seen anywhere, then immediately inform the district administration or public relations office. He also warned that strict action will be taken against those who damage government hoardings or put up flexes without permission.
