ARA-------------------------------Cousins riding a bike were crushed to death by an uncontrolled pickup truck. The deceased included Harsh Kumar, 19, son of Sudama Prasad, a sweet shop owner, and Sahil Kumar, 19, son of Krishna Prasad, a grocery store owner, also from the same village.
In the evening near Tetaria turn in the Udwantnagar police station area of the district, a runaway pickup truck crushed two cousins riding a bike. Both died on the spot. The driver fled the scene with the pickup truck. The incident caused widespread panic in the surrounding area.
According to information, the deceased included Harsh Kumar, 19, son of Sudama Prasad, a sweet shop owner, and Sahil Kumar, 19, son of Krishna Prasad, a grocery store owner, also from the same village. Both were graduate students and cousins.
Here, the family members of the deceased said that both of them had gone to Ara by bike to get goods for their shop. After buying the goods, while returning to the village, they were crushed by an uncontrolled pickup near Tetaria turn, due to which they died on the spot. After receiving the information, the local police station and the family members of the deceased reached there. After which the police took the bodies into their custody and got the post-mortem done at Sadar Hospital.
