BHABHUA----------------------------A heartbreaking news has emerged from the Chainpur police station area of ​​the subdivision. Munni Devi, a resident of Kudasan village, and her nephew, who were riding an e-rickshaw, died on the spot after being hit by a speeding pickup truck. The deceased, Munni Devi, was the wife of the late Dharmdev Singh Patel, alias Guddu Singh.

According to reports, Munni Devi was returning home on an e-rickshaw after buying medicine from Hata market. She was accompanied by her two-year-old nephew, whom she had been raising for the past two years, as the child's mother had already passed away. As soon as they reached the State Bank of India on Chainpur Main Road, a speeding pickup truck hit the e-rickshaw. The impact was so severe that both died on the spot. According to locals, accidents are occurring frequently due to speeding vehicles on the road. People have repeatedly demanded that the administration implement speed control measures.

Upon receiving information about the accident, Chainpur Police Station in-charge Vijay Prasad arrived at the scene with a police team and immediately sent both patients to the Chainpur Primary Health Center, where doctors declared them dead. Police took possession of both bodies and sent them to Bhabua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

The incident has shocked the entire area. Police are investigating the matter. Accidents caused by speeding and negligence once again raise questions about road safety.
