SPECIAL AWARENESS PROGRAMME REGARDING MAI-BEHAN MAAN YOJANA

ARA---------------------------A special awareness program was organized in Ghanghar Milki village under Barhara assembly of Bhojpur district on Thursday regarding the proposed "Mai-Behan Maan Yojana" with the aim of empowering women economically in Bihar and allowing them to live a respectable life. Former Congress Youth President Dr. Brajesh Kumar Singh participated in this program as the keynote speaker and gave detailed information related to the scheme to the rural women present.

Dr. Brajesh Kumar Singh said that Mai-Behan Maan Yojana is a big step towards self-respect and self-reliance of women. He told that as soon as the Grand Alliance government is formed in Bihar, this scheme will be implemented with immediate effect. Under this, all the eligible women of the state will be given financial assistance of ₹ 2500 every month directly into their accounts, so that they can fulfill their basic needs themselves.

He said that wherever there is a Congress government, this scheme has been successfully implemented and lakhs of women are taking advantage of it. He said that the Congress party has always stood as the voice of the poor, laborers and women and this scheme is a part of the same social commitment.

During the program, Dr. Singh interacted with rural women and also listened to their problems. He assured the women that the Mai-Behan Maan scheme is not just a promise but is being brought with a strong intention so that social and economic change can be possible.

A lot of enthusiasm and confidence was seen among the women and Mahagathbandhan supporters participating in the program. Hundreds of local women and villagers participated in this awareness campaign. Everyone unanimously expressed support for the scheme and demanded its implementation.

A large number of Mahagathbandhan workers and local public representatives were also present on this occasion. Prominent participants in the program included Kamal Paswan, Mohammad Tamanna, Janardan Paswan, Mohammad Himayu, Parasnath Yadav, Harendra Singh, Chandrika Shah, Prabhu Yadav, Parmatma Yadav, Ashok Paswan, Mahesh Paswan, Mohammad Jasman Ansari, Ravindra Singh, Chandan Pandey, Mantu Yadav, Shatrughan Yadav, Lalu Yadav, Nirmal Ram, Raju Mian, Ram Lakhan Paswan, Basru Mian, Naushad Alam, Harendra Paswan, Shyam Babu Paswan etc.

The main objective of the program was to make the women of rural areas aware and empowered by giving them information about the “Mai-Behan Maan Yojana”, which was completely successful. Dr. Brajesh Kumar Singh said that in the coming time, such programs will be organized at every Panchayat level so that information about the scheme can reach every household.

If the people of the state repose faith in the Congress and the Grand Alliance, then the “Mai-Behan Maan Yojana” will not just become a dream, but a meaningful reality and will change the lives of women of every household.
