As per the instructions of District Magistrate Tanay Sultania, Jagdishpur Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM) Sanjit Kumar inspected various coastal areas of Shahpur block regarding erosion and pre-flood preparation due to unexpected rise in the water level of the Ganga river. He visited Jawaniya, Damodarpur and other potentially affected areas and took stock of the situation.

ARA------------------------- As per the instructions of District Magistrate Tanay Sultania, Jagdishpur Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM) Sanjit Kumar inspected various coastal areas of Shahpur block regarding erosion and pre-flood preparation due to unexpected rise in the water level of the Ganga river. He visited Jawaniya, Damodarpur and other potentially affected areas and took stock of the situation.
During the inspection, SDM Sanjit Kumar gave necessary instructions to the Zonal Officer and other concerned personnel to make preparations regarding anti-erosion work and flood relief material/camp, keeping in mind the unexpected rise in the water level of the Ganga river.
On this occasion, Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Zonal Officer Shahpur and Police Station Head Bahoranpur etc. of Flood Division Buxar were present.
