ARA----------------------------The person who entered politics in the 1970s after being in the company of Congress stalwarts like Shri Ramsubhag Singh, Shri Ramlakhan Singh Yadav and Shri Baliram Bhagat, and after getting blessings from Mrs. Indira Gandhi, won the election from Sandesh constituency and entered the Bihar Legislative Assembly at the age of 28. His name is Shri Sonadhari Singh Yadav. Not only this, when the political scenario changed with time, he received the blessings of leaders like Shri Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna, Chaudhary Devi Lal and Shri Karpoori Thakur. In those days, Shri Karpoori ji was also made the chief whip of the party.

Some people say that Shri Sonadhari Singh was made a minister by Shri Lalu Yadav. Whereas the reality is that both of them are contemporary leaders. Probably both of them had won the election in 1978. At that time, the only leader of the Yadavs was Shri Ramlakhan Singh Yadav. At that time, Shri Lalu Yadav had no standing in front of Shri Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav. In 1990, Shri Lalu Yadav became the Chief Minister by getting the support of many leaders like Shri Ramdev Yadav, Shri Anoop Lal Yadav, Shri Ravindra Kumar Ravi, by the grace of Shri Sonadhari Singh. Whereas the truth is that all these leaders were in favour of making Shri Sonadhari Singh the Chief Minister. But all these leaders supported Shri Lalu Yadav only on the insistence of Shri Sonadhari Singh. At that time, Shri Sonadhari Singh was counted among the influential leaders of Bihar. Having so much capability, he spent his life under socialist ideology and still does. There has never been a single stain on his reputation.

Now, coming to the assembly elections. The opponent is very strong. It is absolutely impossible for anyone to think that on the basis of money, we will win the election by taking NDA ticket. Many people have tried it. Therefore, NDA has only one option. The name of that option is Sonadhari. If NDA makes Mr. Sonadhari Singh its candidate then victory is certain. Otherwise the result of years is in front of us. This is the bitter truth.
