A sensational incident has come to light from Ara, Bihar, where a wicked son killed his own father by beating him with sticks and rods over a property dispute. The incident took place late Thursday night in the Amir Tola locality of Ibrahim Nagar under the Nagar police station area. The deceased has been identified as 62-year-old Satindra Nath Prasad. It is being said that Satindra Nath Prasad was earlier working as a private security guard in Patna and in recent days was running a tea stall at his home in Ara.
According to family members, the deceased's eldest son, Simardeep alias Raju, had been having a dispute with his father for a long time over land and property. On Thursday evening too, there was an argument between the father and son regarding the division of land and getting the property transferred in his name, which quickly escalated into a violent fight. During this, the accused son attacked his father with sticks and rods, resulting in his death on the spot.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Nagar police immediately reached the spot and took the body into their custody and sent it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased's nephew, Santu Kumar, said that Satindra Nath Prasad has three sons and five daughters, one of whom is married. Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Ajay Kumar, posted at the city police station and investigating the case, said that they received information from local residents about the murder of a man, after which a police team reached the spot and the body was sent for post-mortem examination. Further legal action is being taken in the case, and the police are continuously conducting raids to arrest the accused.
